So, I was on my way into the office and as I do every morning, I pass a car wash. Having his car washed was one of NY’s Finest. I thought it was a bit odd that the City was spending our tax dollars at a car wash, but didn’t pay much more attention than that.
Two minutes later, I see that now spankin’ shiny patrol car with it’s siren on and lights flashing, on the wrong side of the road, heading around oncoming traffic. I guess once the car was cleaned, there was another doughnut emergency.
Don’t you love how your tax dollars are being used?!

I could surely be in much better shape, but then I don’t make my living working in an environment where it can be quite physical. You know, like running to the doughnut shop, or running to pick up my dry cleaning while blocking a lane of traffic. Always, keepin’ trim to be ready for all that important stuff that requires good physical conditioning.
So, you gotta wonder where your tax dollars for training these fine specimens is going. Perhaps it’s going into the doughnut kitty, surely not for gym equipment. These guys couldn’t find their Glock without a mirror or a string attached to it. Boy do I feel safer. Yet these folks, with ticket book in hand are supposed to be looked up to and emulated???
Am I missing something here?
