I was that close to having one of the local boot stompin’ guardians of our safety,  fire a warning shot into my head today.  A pair of our phinest stopped to my left and spun their twinklie lights.

At just about that time, for some reason,  I decided to blow my car horn at the people that were jay walking and blocking my passage for a traffic light that had been green for several passages of jay walkers.  I could not get through the light without at least asserting that the light was red for them,  and they should allow the cars through the intersection (Manhattan can be such a friendly place to drive).  I mean these folks were brazenly breaking the law in front of our bravest.

But,  the two rocket scientists emerged from their vehicle,  looking for action, not justice,  so they went to me telling me that I should cut out blowing my horn.  Nice.  Not a word to the people breaking the law.  Only words of stern advice, directed at me, that I should not blow my horn.  And then his buddy made his way around their chariot to sneer at me and then off they went.  I think some donuts were in peril somewhere close.
